What is a Collaborative Action Network?
Collaborative Action Networks (CAN) are the engines behind collective impact. A CAN is composed of partners who convene around a specific educational outcome. CANs support a combination of policy, professional development, technical assistance, and continuous improvement projects depending on the issue. CANs are charged with aligning efforts and resources to improve indicators at the community level.
We cannot create CANs in every space at once, and so the Leadership Council and Steering Committee have prioritized areas for action. Currently, Bridging Richmond is working with partners aligning their work in the Attendance, Career Readiness & Literacy spaces.
